Is it Fall Yet? || J.Crew Downtown Field Jacket

We're halfway through August and I'm already over summer.  The fall always brings more options for mixing and matching anyway, amirite? 

One of the pieces I'm most excited to be sporting this fall/winter (because let's be real it doesn't get that cold here in South Texas) is my Downtown field Jacket by J.Crew. I've actually owned this jacket for over 4 years in Navy as well. I'm pictured below wearing it in their Mossy Brown, or as I like to call it -- brown.

It's such a timeless piece that adds a subtle leg-up to any outfit. Wear it with a classy dress to bring the look down, or wear it with your favorite jeans and heels or flats to bring your look up. I've worn mine for fall nights out on the town, to business meetings, and dinner dates.  It really is a diverse jacket with a long shelf life, which is crucial to me as a young professional.
